Life is DARK and sometimes it can take a TOUGH person to navigate their way through the difficulties that LIFE brings. Sometimes this toughness is just a cover for emotional wounds. Sometimes the emotional wounds are what makes us tough. Sometimes it is necessary for the extremely tough to do something vulnerable - to allow themselves to LOVE despite any and all past hurt.
