A Solitary Night on the Stage

When times come to be alone on the stage with nothing but microphone and the stares of a thousand pairs of eyes there is a certain feeling rather like the rise of locust in my heart and from this space there comes a certain emotional response - like an emotional upchuck.  Give me a hand to hold onto and I will remove it from the wrist.  I'm that kind of guy.

A hole in the center

I never noticed it before now, but there is a hole in the center of my chest, about the size of a quarter. You can see straight through me! Some people say this is a good thing, others suggest it is a mark to signify failure. What do you think?
