When it came to choosing a best of post for January 2010, it was obvious to the entire staff that "Shrimp on the Block" was the clear winner. This entry beautifully illustrates Ed's mad flow and wack rhymes. It also clearly established him as a real heavyweight in the hip hop community alongside other wordsmiths like "Lil Boosie" and "Bubba Sparxxx". It's also worth mentioning that a cross posting of this entry over at Dark Twin Cities nearly started a riot.
